IEEE will add the following features to IEEE Xplore via an upgrade on October 4th:
Full-text PDF Stamping: Also known as PDF Watermarking, this feature produces a stamp on each downloaded PDF that will contain the date and time of download and the institution performing the download ("NASA Glenn Research Center" or a variation).
Full-text PDF Banner: Each PDF will have a web banner at the top which will allow you to link back to either IEEE Xplore or to http://www.ieee.org/portal/site
Integration of MeSH terms: MeSH terms (indexing terms produced by the National Library of Medicine) will make finding biomedical information easier to find within IEEE Xplore.
IEEE Xplore will remain fully operational during this upgrade.
