The American Chemical Society (ACS) invites professionals, students, and educators to take part in National Chemistry Week 2008, from October 19th - October 25th. The 2008 theme, "Having a Ball with Chemistry", focuses on the impact of chemistry in sports. Each year, the ACS reaches educators, students, and the public with information about the importance of chemistry in everyday life.
