CrowdSource is a blog devoted to documenting community-based contributions and potential solutions to any and all scientific, economic, social, and technological issues, problems, and situations primarily via (but not limited to) a digital environment.
CrowdSource: Power of the People was launched on September 26, 2008. The blog takes its name from the term 'crowdsourcing' which, first identified by journalist Jeff Howe in 2006, refers to the process by which the power of the many can be leveraged to accomplish feats that may have previously been accomplished only by a few.
