Fuel Cells 2000's mission is to promote the commercialization of fuel cells and hydrogen by supplying accurate, unbiased information, developing and disseminating summary materials accessible to a general audience, and providing a portal for researchers, developers, suppliers, government officials, opinion leaders and others interested in the sector. Most information on the site is provided free of charge. The Fuel Cells 2000 site includes a Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Policy and Demonstration Database, which catalogs initiatives, policy and partnerships in the fuel cell and hydrogen arena. Fuel Cells 2000 is an activity of the Breakthrough Technologies Institute (BTI), a non-profit [501(c)(3)] independent, educational organization that identifies and promotes environmental and energy technologies that can improve the human condition.
