Shouldn't everyday be Earth Day?

Earth Day is April 22nd, 2010, and this year marks the 40th anniversary of this day of awareness about our environment and what we can do to protect it. Organizations all over the globe observe this day in various ways...but what about the other 364 days of the year? Read more about actions that individuals can take throughout the year to protect the environment, and learn about how NASA's Earth science missions help us better understand our planet and our effects on the environment. You can also find out more about how the Glenn Research Center helps to protect the environment everyday at public events around the Cleveland area throughout the month of April. Glenn employees can learn more at this year's April 15th GRC Earth Day event (@ the GRC cafeteria, limited to on-site civil servants and contractors only) - be sure to stop by and say hello to the Library staff while you're there! Glenn employees looking for research materials on topics relating to environment, sustainability, "green" chemistry, and more can contact the Library at 3-5761 or 3-5762 for assistance.
