EBSCOhost trial extended through May 30th

The trial period for EBSCOhost has been extended - it now ends on May 30th. Be sure to try it out and let the Library know what you think! NASA Glenn employees should contact the Library at 3-5761 or 3-5762 for trial login information.

The trial includes access to the following databases:

Science & Technology Collection: The Science & Technology Collection™ contains more than 830 leading full text journals covering relevant aspects of the scientific and technical community. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 1,740 journals. Topics include aeronautics, astrophysics, biology, chemistry, computer technology, geology, aviation, physics, archaeology, marine sciences and materials science.

Computers & Applied Sciences Complete: Computers & Applied Sciences Complete covers the research and development spectrum of the computing and applied sciences disciplines. It contains collected knowledge on traditional engineering challenges & research, and is a resource for research concerning the business and social implications of new technology. CASC provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,800 academic journals, professional publications, and other reference sources from a diverse collection. Full text is also available for more than 730 periodicals. Subject areas include the many engineering disciplines, computer theory & systems, new technologies, and social & professional context.

Academic Search R&D: Academic Search™ R&D is the world's most comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, geared specifically toward addressing the needs of research and development. Its extensive scope and content provide users with a wealth of extremely useful information encompassing all areas and facets of research and development activity.

Environment Complete: Environment Complete offers deep coverage in applicable areas of agriculture, ecosystem ecology, energy, renewable energy sources, natural resources, marine & freshwater science, geography, pollution & waste management, environmental technology, environmental law, public policy, social impacts, urban planning, and more. Environment Complete contains more than 1,957,000 records from more than 1,700 domestic and international titles going back to the 1940s (including 1,125 active core titles). The database also contains full text for more than 680 journals and 120 monographs.
