Special issue of the journal "Granular Matter" focuses on Lunar and Martian Exploration

A recent issue of the journal Granular Matter features papers presented at the First Workshop on Granular Materials in Lunar and Martian Exploration, held at Kennedy Space Center in February 2005. Several members of the Glenn community were heavily involved in this two-day workshop. The Granular Matter issue features research and activities focused on understanding extraterrestrial soils, simulation methods, and in-situ resource utilization (ISRU) in a lunar and Martian environment.
