The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) has recently launched its improved search engine. Enhanced retrieval provides users with more functionality for categories, collections, and source agencies as well as improved advanced searching capabilities. Over 3 million products from 1964 to the present are included in the NTIS collection, with new titles added each week. Efficient response gives users the power to search the NTIS collection in the way that best fits their needs including keyword, title, date, and Boolean searching; Search Help gives step by step instructions and graphics; and all search results include a brief product description and an easy way to place product orders online quickly and securely. The National Technical Information Service is the Federal Government’s central source for the sale of scientific, technical, engineering, and related business information produced by or for the U.S. government and complementary material from international sources.
