Find DOE patent information with DOEpatents

DOEpatents is a searchable database of patent information resulting from Department of Energy (DOE)-sponsored research and development (R&D). Included here are patents that DOE sponsored through a variety of funding mechanisms, including grants, contracts, or cooperative agreements. Find patents and patent information from the 1940's through today, with new patent records added to the website quarterly, and other news and information added regularly. Also look for inventor resources and DOE innovations. For patents and patent information not related to DOE, check the U.S. Patent Office website, which contains patent information from 1790 to today.
