Aeronautics eBooks
The amount of material being made available for e-book readers - including the Kindle (Amazon), the Sony e-Reader, and the Nook (Barnes & Noble) - is continually increasing. Books, magazines, blogs, and newspapers of all types are available for various e-readers; and that includes scientific and technical materials. Two titles recently made available in e-book reader format are "Apollo of Aeronautics: NASA's Aircraft Energy Efficiency Program, 1973-1987" by Mark D. Bowles and "X-15: Extending the Frontiers of Flight" by Dennis R. Jenkins. Both of these titles are available for download from the NASA Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate website - if you have an e-book reader, try them out today!

verifying reference lists
Getting a publication ready? Maybe you need to verify your bibliography, or want assistance securing copyright permission for your figures. Look no further than your friendly, neighborhood librarian for all your pre-pub needs. We'll be happy to review your reference list and error check it for you. We can help you organize copyright permissions for your paper, just ask. We will identify the copyright owner and even locate and complete the permission forms for you. (They get submitted by the author, however, so the permission is sure to be in your name!).
